PECKHAMORPHOSIS

This short documentary explores the controversial phenomenon of gentrification and the metamorphosis it brings with it in Peckham, south London.

Opposed to voyeuristic reporting on the issue, this film opts for a more in depth creative approach in documenting how gentrification has affected the people of Peckham, both newcomers and those more established in the area.

It focuses on the neighbourhood of Peckham, as it is in part a representation of the vibrant and diverse London that is at risk of being homogenised.
